Public Cloud Sharing Tools Are a Primary Security Risk

“Organizations consider public cloud sharing tools as a primary security risk according to a survey of IT professionals conducted by Axway and Ponemon Institute.”  According to article I will assume that the hacker will attack more cloud server in 2014.

I believe that as businesses increasingly rely on various cloud services for managing their customer data, internal project plans and financial assets, I expect to see an emergence of attacks targeting endpoints, mobile devices and credentials as means to gaining access to corporate or personal clouds. It’s hard to predict what form future attacks will take, I can imagine ransom ware taking hostage not just your local documents, but any type of cloud-hosted data.

  1. I always like to use Google cloud ,but after I read the article it has also risk. I recommend strong password and cloud data access policies.
